FAQs
You have questions? We have answers
How do I use Gathrd in my browser?
You can use Gathrd in two browser-based ways now. On iPhone, you can still send supported product links into Gathrd from your mobile browser using the share flow. On the web, you can sign in to your Gathrd account, browse collections, revisit saved items, and open retailer links from desktop.
If you want to add something new on the web, open a collection, paste a retailer product link, review the imported details, and save it into that collection.
Can I save links from Safari or Chrome?
Yes. On mobile, you can share supported product links from browsers such as Safari or Chrome into Gathrd.
If you are using the web app, you can also paste a retailer product link directly into a collection. Gathrd will try to pull in the title, image, price, currency, and retailer before you save it.
What can I do in the Gathrd web app?
The web app gives you a signed-in desktop view of the same Gathrd account you use elsewhere. You can browse collections, open saved items on retailer sites, create collections, rename them, delete them, and review collection contents from a larger screen.
Inside a collection, you can also add a new item from a retailer link, favourite saved items, and remove items you no longer want to keep there.
What kinds of links can Gathrd import?
Gathrd works best with direct retailer and product pages. It is designed to import shopping links you send from the iPhone app, paste into the web app, or save through ChatGPT, then pull back details such as the product name, price, image, currency, and retailer where available.
Support is not exhaustive, and results can vary depending on how a page is built. Some links may import cleanly, while others may need review or a few manual edits before you save.
Why didn’t my product details load correctly?
The most common reasons are an invalid link, a page that is not a direct product page, a retailer challenge or anti-bot page, or a page structure Gathrd cannot parse reliably yet.
If that happens, you can still review the import, edit fields manually, and save the item yourself in supported save flows.
How do I use Gathrd with ChatGPT?
Connect your Gathrd account to ChatGPT when prompted, approve the requested access, and then ask ChatGPT to work with your collections in natural language.
Once connected, ChatGPT can help you list collections, create a collection, save supported retailer product links into Gathrd, bring back saved items, and hand you links that open the right collection in Gathrd.
What can the Gathrd ChatGPT app do right now?
Right now, the ChatGPT connection is built around browsing and saving. It can read your collections and saved items, create collections, save retailer links you surface in chat, and help you choose the right collection when names are ambiguous.
If ChatGPT is about to create or save something, you may be asked to confirm the action before anything is written to your Gathrd account.
What are collections in Gathrd?
Collections are the main way to organise what you save. You can create collections for anything that makes sense to you, such as outfits, gift ideas, rooms, brands, or longer-term wishlists.
Each saved item can live inside a collection, and those collections carry across Gathrd surfaces such as iPhone, the web app, and ChatGPT-connected saves.
What is the difference between Collections and the List tab?
Collections show grouped sets of saved items. The List tab gives you a broader view across your saved items, so you can scan everything in one place instead of opening each collection individually.
The List view is also useful when you want to sort or filter across items more quickly.
Can I move or duplicate items between collections?
Yes. Gathrd supports moving items between collections, and it also supports duplicating items when you want the same product to appear in more than one place.
You can do this from item actions inside collections and list-based views.
Can I favourite items?
Yes. You can favourite saved items and then use favourites-based views or filters to focus on the items you care about most.
Favourites are useful when a collection contains a lot of options and you want to narrow it down without deleting anything.
Can I edit imported details or add my own photo?
Yes. Imported details are not locked. You can review and edit fields such as the product name, retailer, price, image, and link when an import needs tidying up.
In the app, you can also upload a photo or take one yourself if you want to replace the imported image or add your own reference image.
Do I need an account to use Gathrd?
Yes. Gathrd is an account-based app.
Your account is what ties together saved items, collections, browser saves, web access, ChatGPT-connected saves, data export, and account management features such as deletion and recovery.
How can I sign in?
Gathrd supports sign-in with email and password, Google, and Apple.
You can use whichever option suits you best when creating or accessing your account on supported Gathrd surfaces. If you sign in with email and password, you may be asked to verify your email before continuing with some web and connection flows.
What should I do if I forgot my password?
Use the password-reset option from the sign-in flow. Gathrd will send a reset link to your email address.
Reset links expire, so if an older email no longer works, request a new one and use the latest message.
What happens after I verify my email?
Gathrd completes email verification through the app. If you open a verification link from your email, the helper page on gathrd.uk will try to route that action back into Gathrd.
Once the verification is processed, your account can continue using the normal sign-in, web, and connection flows.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Gathrd includes an in-app export option in Settings under data controls.
The export gives you a JSON copy of your collections and saved items.
Can I archive or delete collections?
Yes. Gathrd includes in-app data controls for archiving collections and for deleting collections, and the web app also supports deleting collections.
Archiving is useful when you want to clear active space without treating something as gone forever, while deletion is permanent.
How do I delete my account?
You can start account deletion in the app from Settings under data controls.
For security, Gathrd may ask you to re-authenticate before the account is removed, depending on how you signed in.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Gathrd includes in-app flows for bug reports and feature requests via the settings tab.
If you would rather get in touch directly, you can also contact support by email and include the link, device, and issue details so the team can investigate more quickly.
How do I contact support?
You can contact Gathrd support at support@gathrd.uk.
If you are reporting a problem, it helps to include the email address on your account, your device, the link you were trying to save, and what happened.
